1. Privacy contact

For privacy enquiries, contact Pelri at [email protected].

If you have any questions about your personal data, please contact us at the e-mail address above.

2. Visiting this website

When you visit www.pelri.com, technical data is processed automatically, such as your IP address, date and time of access, the pages you visit, your browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website is hosted by our hosting provider and delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (content delivery and protection against attacks), which process this data on our behalf.

3. Cookies and statistics

Our shop uses cookies that are technically necessary, for example to keep your shopping cart and to let you log in to your customer account (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

We use Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics, services of Automattic Inc. (USA), to understand how our website is used in aggregated form. These services process technical data such as IP address, browser information and pages visited and may set cookies.

4. Contact form

If you contact us via our contact form or by e-mail, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, message) to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Our forms are protected against spam by Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) and Akismet (Automattic Inc.), which analyse technical data such as your IP address and the content entered.

5. Orders and customer account

When you place an order, we process the data required to conclude and fulfil the contract, such as name, address, e-mail address, phone number, order details and payment status (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and we keep it as required by commercial and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.) or PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.), depending on the method you choose. These providers receive the payment data needed for the transaction and process it under their own privacy policies. We pass your delivery data to the shipping company that delivers your order.

If you enter your e-mail address at checkout but do not complete your order, our shop may store your cart and e-mail address and send you a reminder about your unfinished order. You can unsubscribe from these reminders at any time via the link in the e-mail or by writing to us.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your e-mail address to send it to you on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The newsletter is managed with MailPoet. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time via the link in every e-mail.

7. Pinterest and Google integrations

We use the “Pinterest for WooCommerce” and “Google for WooCommerce” extensions to share our product catalogue (product names, images, prices) with Pinterest and Google. This does not include personal data of our website visitors.

In addition, we use the Pinterest API for an internal, read-only tool. It only accesses the boards and saved Pins of our own Pinterest business account, which we use as visual references for our design work. It does not access the data of website visitors or of other Pinterest users, it does not post or change anything, and the data is not sold or shared with third parties.

8. Transfers outside the EU

Some of our service providers are based in the United States. Personal data may therefore be processed outside the European Union. Where required, such transfers are based on the safeguards provided under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or are necessary to perform the contract with you (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

9. How long we keep data

We delete personal data as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial and tax law, generally up to 10 years for invoices) require us to keep it longer.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence.

11. Changes

We may update this privacy policy when our website or services change. The current version is always available on this page.
